10/01/2005 Chapters of Genji Story Series: # 13 Artist: Kunisada Format: Chuban tate-e: 10" x 7" Subject: Prince Genji cooling himself down with a fan on a warm Summers evening, a young bijin holding a hand-lamp kneels before him. Date: c. 1850 Condition: Very slightly trimmed. Album backing paper. Slight soils. A small tear at centre left edge. Minor marks and flaws. Generally very good state. Colour: Fine colors. Impression: Fine impression with gauffrage and mica.
