From Takeji Asano's small, but beautifully executed series, "Six Views of Wakayama", "Koyasan Negoro Daito". The large pagoda of Negoro at Mt. Koya in snow. The large temple compound in Mt. Koya is the head temple of the Buddhist Shingon sect which was estublished by the high priest, Kobo Daishi, in 805.
