The beautiful blossoms in full bloom dominate the foreground in a design reminiscent of Hiroshige. A single boatman passes under the traditional old bridge. Signed- Kawase Hasui with red artist’s seal “sui” Sealed- Publisher Watanabe, 7mm seal, later edition original, from original blocks Image size- 9 ?” x 14 3/8” (oban tate-e) Condition- Excellent, no toning, tears, not mounted, full margins.
