Title Portfolio of Beauties e-hon loose leaf album Artist Kiyokata Kaburagi 1878-1973 Signature "kiyokata" on most of the prints Dated 1914 Publisher Nihon Bijutsu Gakuin Technique/Medium Woodblock print (series includes 4 woodblock and eight litho prints). Lithograph prints printed on semi-grossy stock papers. Description "Kiyokata Bijin Gafu" (Portfolio of Beauties by Kiyokata). 11 prints, of which 3 woodblock prints (about 140 x 205mm each) and 8 lithograph prints. The portfolio includes quite thoughtful explanations by Kiyokata about his intentions and drawing techniques for each pictures. Unfortunately only in Japanese.
