Monday, 1 August 2011 Title Deer in kasuga rare. Large size. Jizuri Artist Hiroshi Yoshida 1876-1950 Signature "Hiroshi Yoshida" signed in pencil on the lower margin. "Yoshida" brush signed in sumi on the lower left. Seal Artist's seal. Dated 1928. Medium/Technique Woodblock print. Impression Excellent - Very good. Colors Excellent. Condition Very good … Slightly soiled. Margins lightly creased. Description "Kasuga no Shika". The deer in Kasuga shrine in Nara. They are very friendly and tamed. Note "Jizuri" on the left margin.
