Bora, the grey mullet ( Mugil cephalus ) with camellia and Japanese asparagusudo from the first series of fish published by Eijudo, c. mid 1830′s. The number of late impressions and facsimiles proves that the series was very popular at the time. Very good impression with extensive mica. Fine colour. Light album backing and slight centre fold (as per usual ). Signed Hiroshige ga. Status: Sold
