Title page and contents with the names of the provinces and places illustrted, grouped according to their several departments, namely, the Go-Kinai, Tokaido, Tosando, Hokurokudo, San-in-do, San-yo-do, Nankaido, Saikaido, and Hokkai-do. This was designed to serve as a title-page and table of contents when the prints were bound in book form; or to be printed upon the wrapper when they were put up for sale in a packet.
