画題等:
This print depicts Crescent in dark sky and some boats anchoring in port. The comparison of this print manifests a defference and similarrities between Hiroshige’s and Hasui’s works. Compared to Hiroshige’s print, light of dawn, motion (of water) and depth in Hasui’s print are visible due to his use of western technique. However, it is clear that the overall composition owes to Hiroshige. (from Nostalgic Japan exhibition 3/28/2005-)
