Wonderfully executed "bokashi" shading; extensive "gauffrage" (embossing) to cherry blossoms; nicely detailed carving, crisp lines. Condition Nearly Excellent. Excellent colors. Clean front and verso. (Light toning; few tiny marks; very slight wear.) Reference/Illus Blair's 1930 "Toldedo Exhibition" pl. #336. Comments A beautifully illuminated and evocative night scene. A classic "shin hanga" print of the 1930 Toledo Exhibition and among the finest images of the period. (Lacks "first edition verso seal"--but early.) Very rarely available. Item # DG-680
