説明：

Yoshida Toshi, like his father before him, traveled extensively. Monument Valley, famous for its tall sandstone buttes (flat-topped hills surrounded by steep cliffs created by erosion processes), lies within the range of the Navajo Nation Reservation on the Arizona-Utah border near the Four Corners areas. While the panoramic view is familiar from photographs, films, and Western drawings and prints, Toshi transformed it by rendering it with traditional Japanese woodblock printing techniques and infusing it with a calm, poetic atmosphere.
