Title: "Woman Applying Make-up" ("Kesho no Onna") Date: 1920 (Commemorative Edition, sanctioned by Goyo's family, c.1980's) Publisher: Tanseisha Image Size: 11" x 17 1/4" Impression: Fine. Sumptuous soft pink "mica" background; gold metallic pigment highlights; extensive gauffrage (embossing) to flowers and red pattern; skillful "bokashi." Condition: Fine. An exquisite image which uses the most beautiful paper to recreate the bloom of a young woman's skin. One of a very few reprints made with the blessing of Goyo's heirs in the 1980's.
